Is sushi always raw?

No. We have fried, baked, vegan and boiled sushi. You are not necessarily in the raw zone — unless you want to be. 🍤

What sushi even means?

Sushi = rice prepared with vinegar and sugar. Everything else is creativity. Fish is optional, but a good idea. 🍣

Is this even safe to eat?

Of course. We use tested and fresh ingredients. We keep fish in refrigerators that cost more than your phone. All good. 👌

I don't know how to use chopsticks. Should I be ashamed?

Not at all. Do you eat with your hands? Cool. With a spoon? Respect. Are you trying a fork and knife? We still love you. 🥰

Which sushi should I order first?

Try some boiled or fried (tempura). Our “Spicy shrimp” or “Tataki tuna” are sure hits.

Why is wasabi so strong?

That’s the Japanese version of ‘horseradish’. Don’t smear it like pate — too much wasabi will make you cry more than when your ex left you.

How do you eat sushi? Are there some rules?

There is a label, but honestly – just enjoy it. Dip the rice in soy sauce, and eat it in one bite if you can.

The Japanese have this weird terminology, so you know what you’re ordering

Maki

Classic roll with seaweed on the outside. The most famous guy.

Uramaki

“Inner maki” – rice on the outside, seaweed on the inside.

Nigiri

Rice + fish on top, without rolling. Japanese minimalism.

Sashimi

Just raw fish. No rice. For lovers of pure taste.

Tempura

Fried ingredients. Crispy, warm, perfect.

Surimi

Imitation of crab meat, often used in California rolls. Sweet, soft, everyone loves it.

Gari

Pickled ginger. It cleanses the palate between bites. Do not mix with wasabi, unless you like surprises.

Wasabi

Green “firework”. You don’t need much, trust us.

Shoyu (Soy)

Salty sauce that sushi should not be dipped in. A light dip, just to kiss it.

Shari

A special type of rice seasoned with vinegar, sugar and salt. The heart of every sushi.
